Terms of Service
Effective date: 10 August 2026Last updated: 10 August 2026
1. About the service
Inbox Signal is an email attention and reply assistance service operated by Maldicore ([LEGAL ENTITY NAME TO BE CONFIRMED]). These terms govern your use of it.
The service assesses which email conversations may need your attention and prepares suggested replies for review. It assists you; it does not decide for you. It does not send email autonomously, and it does not take actions in your mailbox other than sending a reply you have approved.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You need an account to use the service. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, for keeping your credentials secure, and for activity that happens under your account. Inbox Signal is intended for business and professional use. A minimum user age has not been set. [MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENT TO BE DECIDED]
3. Connecting third-party services
You may connect third-party services such as Gmail. You confirm that you have the authority to connect and use the account you are connecting, including where it belongs to an employer or client. Those services remain governed by their own terms and policies, and you remain subject to them.
4. Email access and sending
With your authorization, Inbox Signal may access email information from the connected account to provide the service, and may prepare suggested replies. Under the current product architecture, a message is sent only after you explicitly approve that specific message.
Before approving a message, you remain responsible for reviewing:
- the recipients;
- factual accuracy;
- any commitment being made;
- commercial terms such as price, scope or timing;
- legal implications;
- the final content of the message.
5. AI-generated output
Assessments, summaries and drafts are produced with AI and can be incomplete or wrong. They are suggestions, not decisions. Important communications should be reviewed before they are sent.
The service is not a substitute for professional legal, financial, tax or other specialist advice. You remain responsible for the decisions you make and the messages you send through your account. This does not remove our responsibility to provide the service as described in these terms.
6. Business Context and learned behaviour
You may provide business information as Business Context, and Inbox Signal may use it when assessing conversations and preparing drafts. You are responsible for keeping that information accurate and current; the service treats what you enter as authoritative.
Your corrections and edits may produce learning suggestions. A suggestion has no effect until you approve it, and you can edit it before approving, dismiss it, or switch an approved rule off at any time.
7. Acceptable use
You may not use Inbox Signal to:
- break the law or facilitate unlawful activity;
- access an account or mailbox you are not authorized to use;
- impersonate another person or organization;
- send spam or bulk unsolicited email;
- distribute malware or conduct phishing;
- probe, attack or attempt to compromise the service or its infrastructure;
- misuse another person's data.
Inbox Signal is a tool for business correspondence. It is not a bulk marketing or outbound campaign platform.
8. Your content and the permissions you give us
You keep your rights in your email, Business Context and drafts. We claim no ownership of them. You grant Maldicore the limited rights needed to store, process and transmit that information for the purpose of operating the service for you, including sending it to the service providers described in the Privacy Policy. That permission ends when the information is deleted or your account is closed.
9. Intellectual property
The Inbox Signal software, interface, documentation, name and branding are owned by Maldicore or its licensors. These terms give you the right to use the service, not ownership of it. Nothing in this section applies to your own data or content.
10. Privacy
Our handling of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
11. Third-party services
The service depends on third parties, including Google for Gmail access and sending, and cloud infrastructure and AI providers for hosting and processing. Changes, outages or restrictions in those services can affect Inbox Signal. We do not control and cannot guarantee their availability or behaviour.
12. Availability and changes to the service
The service is under active development and will change. We may add, modify or discontinue features. Where a change materially reduces functionality you are paying for, we will give reasonable notice and, where appropriate, a proportionate remedy under the commercial terms then in force.
13. Fees
No paid plan is currently offered, and these terms do not create any payment obligation. If paid plans are introduced, pricing and payment terms will be presented separately and will apply only if you accept them.
14. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access where an account breaches these terms, where use threatens the security or integrity of the service, or where required by law. Where reasonable, we will give notice and an opportunity to correct the problem.
You can stop using the service at any time. You can disconnect Gmail, delete imported email, and delete your account from Settings, as described in the Privacy Policy.
15. Disclaimers
The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, that every assessment will be correct, or that every message needing attention will be identified. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
16. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for lost profits, revenue or data, arising out of or relating to the service. Maldicore's total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amounts you paid for the service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or, where no amounts have been paid, to a nominal sum. This section does not limit liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or anything else that cannot be limited by law.
[LIMITATION OF LIABILITY WORDING REQUIRES LEGAL REVIEW BEFORE PRODUCTION RELIANCE]
17. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Maldicore against third-party claims arising from your unlawful use of the service, your breach of these terms, or content you send through the service. We will notify you of any such claim and allow you to participate in its defence. [INDEMNITY WORDING REQUIRES LEGAL REVIEW]
18. Governing law and disputes
[GOVERNING LAW / JURISDICTION TO BE CONFIRMED]
The governing law and the forum for disputes have not been established in the project documentation and must be confirmed before these terms are relied on in production.
19. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product and its commercial model develop. The effective and last updated dates at the top of this page will change, and continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. Material changes will be communicated in the product where appropriate.
